One of my friends and her kids are doing the same history/science program that we're doing this year, so we decided to try to get together once in a while (at least once a month) and do a little co-op thing with the kids. We have concluded our study of the Roman Empire and had a Roman Feast to celebrate. The kids all dressed up. It was great!
We had all kinds of fruits, nuts, some carrots, some olives, and hard boiled eggs.
The kids all looked great in their costumes! Notice the colliseum in the background? haha
Everyone loved lounging around enjoying their meal as the Romans did. This is my favorite picture of the day. This my friend's daughter, the only girl in our little group.
Justin said he's always wanted to eat grapes like this! lol
